A self-described “diehard” Roosters fan has more has had a wonderful morning. Nathaniel Farsi, 29, Share Trader, was checking the finance report this morning when he accidentally stumbled across the news that his much-loved Eastern Suburbs based team had won the NRL Grand Final.
“What a lovely surprise,” said Nathaniel. “I’ve never actually been to a match and don’t intend to ever, in my life, ever, like, ever, but I’m proud of the boys.”
It was a great GF. I just wish Nathaniel had been there along with thousands of other Roosters supporters as they were dwarfed in size by the enormous showing of Canberra Raiders fans who had travelled aplenty to be there.
