The upcoming blockbuster World Cup semi-final between England and Croatia will see two brothers reunited for the first time in decades.

Brothers Martin Tyler and Steve Tyler haven’t spoken for decades since an epic falling out in the late 1960s. The feud began after both brothers set out to forge careers as commentators in the English Premier League.

In a bid to differentiate himself from his arguably superior brother, Steve Tyler fixed several bandanas to his microphone – additionally this was an attempt to motivate his performance and rev up the crowd.

Steve’s brother Martin, the more conservative of the two, felt that coloured bandanas tied to the microphone was not in keeping with the tradition of the world game, and that it made no sense as the commentary was conducted in a box high in the stands far away from the public’s gaze.

However Steve was adamant that bandanas tied to the microphone were critical to his performance. Refusing to budge the two didn’t speak for decades and Steve followed his heart commentating for now legendary rock band Aerosmith.

Steve’s commentary for band Aerosmith won them numerous Grammys and countless fans across albums such as the the brilliant ‘Pump’ with much loved songs such as ‘Janie’s Got a Gun’.

But now their mutual love for the beautiful game where England is on the cusp of a World Cup final has brought them back together.

The two will be commentating for Sky Sports and it would seem Martin has softened over the years allowing Steve one conciliatory bandana.

Martin has permitted brother Steven one bandana and one bandana only.

The world looks forward to the call as Steve Tyler’s epic vocal abilities will be on show – the ‘Demon of Screamin’ is sure set the world’s hearts aflutter. Moreover, the two perfectly compliment each other: one the epic professional whose football knowledge is second to none; the other a passionate vocalist with an incredible range.

We expect the two to harmonise throughout the game which can only add to to the epic encounter.
