Surry Hills residents were out in force this weekend after the rains brought a crop of magic mushrooms to Shannon Reserve on Crown Street.
“It’s been a bumper harvest this year” said Adeline, a fashion student from the area.
But the big winner this magic mushroom season was Steve, a local dog from Arthur Street.
Steve was so off his face he mistook a stuffed toy for an actual dog.
The two quickly became friends and Steve felt deeply in love.
Unfortunately after the buzz wore off Steve realised his new best friend was nothing but a horrible lie full of fluff. Literally.
Steve promptly destroyed his so-called new best friend allowing his actual best friend and owner Sean back into his life.
