Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will spearhead a new Think Tank in Sydney, tackling some of modern world’s most challenging problems.

First on the agenda is the tired phrase: “At the end of the day”.

Boooooooooriiiiiing…

Rudd was scathing in his maiden speech as Chairman of the Think Tank, “We as a society simply can’t go on recycling the same phrases. It leads to a monotony of the mind, a lack of imagination. We deserve better. We must strive for more. We are committed to providing that.”

Kevin Rudd is Chairman of the International Think Tank Consortium. Rudd is current President of the Asia Society Policy Institute and served as Australia’s 26th Prime Minister (2007-2010, 2013) and as Foreign Minister (2010-2012).

The Think Tank is taxpayer funded. As it should be.

Panelists and speakers joining him include: Caroline Atkinson is Chief Policy Adviser at Google, where she leads work with policymakers, government officials, and key political stakeholders. Susan Chira (Moderator) is a Senior Correspondent and Editor on gender issues at The New York Times. Stephen Heintz has been President of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF) since 2001. James McGann is a Senior Lecturer of International Studies at the Lauder Institute, Director of the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program and Senior Fellow at the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.

Initial suggestions are:

“Fat in the pan”, “Char on the barbie” and “Air con off”.

The Think Tank will involve a gala dinner next month at Sydney Town Hall. The fee for a seat at a table is $9,500 per head.

All proceeds go to a future fund to the creation of actual physical Think Tanks that can house human brains like Kevin Rudd’s indefinitely.

Kevin Rudd just crushed someone with his enormous brain that will one day be permanently floating in some sort of futuristic viscous liquid.
