Coles has upped its game in a bid for the fiercely competitive supermarket dollar with the marketing of Christmas in July dogs. 

“Christmas in July Dogs has been a huge success,” said Coles Head of Consumer Strategy Michael Beattie. “But please remember, a dog is not just for Christmas in July”. 

Many long time Surry residents’ hearts skipped a beat when they thought this may be the reincarnation of the much-loved Dasher.

Alas no, but Dasher lives on in our collective memories.
