The Dragons stunning performance against Brisbane on Sunday has prompted an NRL insider to leak results of the NRL Fan Poll which reveal that Kurt Mann was the fan favourite as best player of 2018 and coach Paul MacGregor the best coach throughout the season.

A sample of one of the thousands of votes cast can be viewed here.

Mary and Mann. Unbeatable.

Mary MacGregor’s tactics and Mann’s skill were instrumental in the Dragons’ upset victory over the Broncos 48-18. It was once again a breathtaking performance from clearly the form player of the competition.

One can only assume the NRL wants to only promote “glamour” players and coaches as opposed to the impossibly old school MacGregor and journeyman Mann.

More leaked votes cast confirm Kurt Mann is the game’s best centre, winger and five-eighth, half-back, edge and middle forward.

This proves MacGregor’s unshakable faith in Mann throughout the season.

As Dragons fans say: In Kurt we trust.

Perhaps the greatest utility in the modern era.

True believers are without doubt Kurt Mann will lead the side to victory against the Rabbitohs and regard Widdop’s outing as no great loss.

Mann.
Oh Mann.
