The TV screens of Surry Hills have featured a new watermark trialled by Channel 7 as part of their promotion for the 2019 series of MKR.
The slightly larger watermark is due to a significant drop in the current season’s ratings.
The Head of Promotions, Steve Linnane said, “We felt that we hadn’t spread the word enough about the 2019 series of MKR. Therefore the slightly larger watermark would not detract from viewing, rather add to excitement towards the upcoming series.”
Asked whether it was necessary to promote MKR during MKR the head of promotions was aggressively adamant:
“Okay, am I taking crazy pills?! This is kindergarten stuff: They’re already watching 2018 MKR, so we need to make them watch 2019 MKR. Simple.”
The new series of MKR is scheduled for release on January 1, 2019.
