Blink and you’ll miss it, but eagle-eyed Game of Thrones fans have spotted yet another coffee cup on set of the latest episode. If you look carefully in the background, behind Arya Stark, you can spot what seems to be an entire coffee cart.

Producers have however staunchly defended the scene, explaining that coffee carts were common in Medieval Times and would have been expected to be throughout King’s Landing.

This comes as rumours circulate about the long shooting hours on set, leading some to speculate that actors and crew have been surviving on a strict diet of caffeine for months.

And now many crew members are addicted to caffeine.

Producers, in particular the Executive Producers, Line Producer and Head of Continuity are rumoured to be addicted to cocaine and generally not giving a fuck all together, preferring to spend their days counting cash made from the blockbuster series.

This all comes just one week after a coffee cup was seen in Winterfell, Game of Thrones has been hit with another embarrassing editing blunder.

Just as “Coffeegate” was about to simmer down, Game of Thrones has served up another hot mistake.

Fresh off the anachronistic appearance of a modern-day coffee cup in Episode 4, the final season of HBO’s hit fantasy drama’s latest editing mistake: Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) appears to have miraculously grown back his severed hand in a promo image from Episode 5, “The Bells.”
