Manly has descended into further chaos after it’s been revealed that a boardroom meeting went completely pear-shaped. Senior management executives at Manly instigated the boardroom meeting in an attempt to regain control of the club.

However one can surmise that the boardroom meeting was never going to be productive as it was scheduled to be held at the Boardroom strip club in Gladstone.

Exclusive footage gained by the Surry Hills Times features an MC that bears a striking resemblance to Jackson Hastings, who after being sacked by the Manly club may have been offered a position with a new club – the Boardroom in Gladstone, where it all started.

  • It is yet to be confirmed whether Jackson Hastings has been hired as the MC of the Boardroom.

Why the boardroom executives insisted on holding the meeting at the strip club will never know.

This comes in the wake of after unnamed Manly players’ ill-fated trip to a Gladstone strip club named the ‘Boardroom’.

The Surry Hills Times spoke to stripper Destiny and asked the same question. She said, “You want one good reason why they’d hold their meeting here? Off the top of my head I can give you at least two.”

The Manly officials have been as yet unnamed.

Hastings: a new career as MC?

And now the club is in further turmoil with revelations that coach Trent Barrett will quit the club at the end of the year.

Barrett has refused to answer questions about his explosive walkout at Brookvale.

News broke of the 40-year-old’s surprise resignation on Tuesday following the club’s 18-6 win over the Bulldogs on the weekend.

It’s understood Barrett’s frustrations were centred around a lack of resources and support at club as it continues to go throughout the 2018 season without a recruitment manager.

Gone.
