The hail storm that raged through Sydney last night has claimed another victim.
Matt Canavan foolishly asked his colleague Beth if she suffered from hail damage in the recent storm.
Matt was referring to her car. Beth thought otherwise. She thought thighs. That’s when Matt “got what was coming to him”.
Matt was repentant when speaking to the Surry Hills Times. “I’m an idiot. I shouldn’t have asked that question. I’m so insensitive. I just hope Beth can forgive me”.
“All hell broke out,” said Seargant Wilson. “But at the end of the day, the boy’s got to learn, if you’re going to use the term “hail damage” to a woman, be very, very careful, or suffer the consequences.”
