Ironically, the decision not to pursue Folau has allowed the god bothering homophobe to escape from two years in a punishing hellish existence that is the St George Illawarra Dragons – a once proud club that now boasts the most hopelessly inept board in the history of the game.
To play for, or support the club, is akin to being in a hell-pit where mismanagement, confusion, ego and political infighting reign supreme, and hope is always on the distant horizon.
It’s deeply ironic that those who wish to punish Folau for his views have actually allowed him to go unpunished by avoiding the club.
