Now, where were we? So, after the Footy Show allegedly ‘fat shamed’ ex player Dave Taylor for calling him ‘gutsy’ to which Erin Molan was “absolutely appalled”, channel 9 seemed to have forgotten that for over two decades the show was hosted by Paul “Fatty” Vautin and panelled by Daryl “Big Marn” Brohman.
So given that Channel 9 have unreservedly apologised to Dave Taylor (who no doubt didn’t give a fuck), both Fatty and Big Marn have employed an obese barrister to sue the network. Why not? Let’s all get offended as much as we can shall we? What could possibly go wrong?
