Sydney’s nightlife has long been pronounced dead. Now its Afternoon Life was pronounced dead at LoLuk Bistro after a noise complaint was enforced by Rangers due to a decibel level barely louder than conversation.

What was to be a lovely gathering of Darlo Darlings soon resulted in mass grieving with grown adults crying like babies, openly weeping for our city.

Shortly beforehand they were enjoying the sexy sounds of Darlo Pop and Soul Artist Jo Cooper… played at an extremely respectable level.

Then? Nothing.

And it begs the question: when is a complaint really a complaint? Surely the complaint itself should first the investigated for its veracity before it is enforced.

Luckily this can now be pondered by our local MP Alex Greenwich who was in attendance.

With nonsense complaints like this continuing to be enforced momentum is gathering for a protest enmass in Hyde Park for our collective right to have a civilized gathering of an afternoon in Surry Hills.

God help us all.

In other news a professional magician won the door prize and no one was alarmed.

We will continue to investigate.
