An inspired Perry Haddock gesticulates wildly, “If people are taking three for the sea, then taking four for the shore is 25% better for the environment!!! Just do the freakin’ maths!”
Meanwhile, founder of ‘Three for the Sea’ Tim Silverwood is furious. “Four for the Shore?!” he says incredulously. “That’s just… shit. Three is the number. Three.”
I sit with founder of ‘Four for the Shore’, Perry Haddock, in a converted warehouse office space he shares with marine biologists, PR professionals, designers and environmental activist. Perry has poured his life savings into ‘Four for the Shore’ creating the start-up to directly challenge ‘Three for the Sea’. He expects the government to greenlight funding for the venture at any stage.
Perry sips on a green tea as he takes me through the plan. “It can’t go wrong! Literally a pretty shit primary school student could understand: if three is good four is better!”

Back at the warehouse Perry is excited: “What’s more we should be getting 25% more funding from the government if we don’t I’ll sue. The facts prove it.”
