It’s a little known fact that throughout World War II there was a Spanish arm of the infamous Nazi SS.
However a group that struck terror in the hearts of all that witnessed their inhuman acts had almost no impact throughout Europe. The reason? Because the Spanish have enormous difficulty pronouncing the letter “S”.
In fact it could be said the entire nation suffers a pronounced lisp when they attempt that most difficult of letters.
The elongated “S” that accompanied the announcement of the big booted brigade was met with hilarity.
When the Spanish SS announced themselves the crowd would regularly burst into laughter.
This rendered them almost entirely without power.
It’s a poignant lesson from history. the greatest weapon we have against tyranny on a day to day basis is laughter. For a bully that is laughed at is stripped of his power.
Word spread all the way to Hitler’s bunker where the head of the Spanish SS was forced to explain the impotent arm of the Spanish division. As soon as he proclaimed to the Fuhrer that he was the leader of the Spanish SS complete with inherent lisp Hitler himself burst into laughter immediately disbanding the Spanish SS forever.
