A spinoff of Taxi Cab Confessions is about to be launched, filmed on the streets of Surry Hills – ‘Uber Confessions’. Brilliantly the brand new show features actual Priests behind the wheel.

One of the stars, Father Kerr said, “And these aren’t just little confessions, they’re literally Uber Confessions. We’ve got a manslaughter, an attempted date rape, it’s great! Ratings will be through the roof!”

Premiering on the religious network, representatives of the Catholic Church feel that the program will bring the Church into the modern world.

Taxicab Confessions was a television series of hidden camera documentaries that aired on HBO with segments taped in New York City and Las Vegas where the taxi drivers are also producers who steer both the vehicle and the conversations with passengers.

When passengers entered the cab, they were recorded with several small cameras hidden in the taxi. The producer prompted passengers into discussing their past and/or present circumstances. This has led some participants to reflect on their life, recalling extreme tragedies or triumphs.

Father Mulvaney, a stalwart of the series, expects ratings to be through the roof.

Based on the streets of Surry Hills, the show airs on Foxtel next month.
