Is it Australia Day? Is it Invasion Day? For one local man the confusion got all too much and instead of celebrating Australia Day he chose to spend the day in a ‘safe space’ hiding under the bed, lest he be subject to virtue signalling online bullies.
“Last year I posted a photo on Twitter of me celebrating Australia Day having a schooner at the pub, and was promptly informed I was an insensitive turd. It’s bloody hot under here, and I’d love a beer, but I don’t want any abuse. Jeez I’m thirsty.” he said.
