Riding on Footpaths Illegal in NSW. Brave Resident Attempts Citizen’s Arrest.

“Look at these dorks! They’re not even on fixies!” one resident exclaimed as four uniformed police rode down the footpath.

But of far greater concern is that said dorks were, in fact, breaking the law. It is illegal in NSW for an adult (over the age of 16) to ride a bicycle on a footpath.

As such, one brave resident, Jackie Quelin 28, took matters into her own hands, attempting to make a citizen’s arrest and take down the four policemen.

She was promptly overpowered by the police who manhandled her to the ground via a headlock, and arrested her on an undisclosed charge as shocked onlookers onlooked.

“Yeah I was onlooking as these cops took down the chick. It was brutal,” said one onlooker.

Jackie is due to attend court next month.
