The burden of choosing players for the upcoming NRL Supercoach draft is taking its toll on the mental health of men everywhere, but not fast enough says feminist Clementine Ford.
Ford sparked outrage over the weekend after she fired off a “flippant” tweet about men being killed by corona virus. Now it seems she has turned her attention to the toll Supercoach stress takes on men.
Ford was recently awarded a Melbourne City Council arts grant, but Lord Mayor Sally Capp criticised Ford’s comments, calling them “deliberately divisive” at a time when she was trying to keep the community together through the Supercoach crisis.
Every year the stress of picking players for their team takes a significant toll on the mental health of hundreds of Australian men.
